I apply this unit in live performance and so far I love it. The vocal response is fantastic. I use recorded stems in my deed and their reproduction is outstanding.
I use this mixer for light duty studio audio production. It replaced an identical board that had been in daily employ since the 1990s but had recently developed a hum in certain channels. This does exactly what I need it to do, and cleanly!
Mackie still keeps the build quality are known for. This unit of measurement has a small foot impress, but is still fully featured.
I am using this as a submixer for keyboards into my interface. While the preamps dose not take quite as
much superlative stop every bit the interface, this unit is better at rejecting line noise. The preamps have decent gain.
The EQ department is functional, but not outstanding. Information technology functions as a 2 coach sub mixer easily. The internal
ability supply is a big improvement over other brands. My but 'negative; is the cent indent of the
pots (EQ) is hard to 'feel'. It's in that location, merely like shooting fish in a barrel to pass trough.
I take had this mixing board for over two years now and it has held up wonderfully. Very solid build, quiet, and clean.
I replaced my original Mackie 1402 VLZ that I bought I recollect in the early on 90s. It lasted this long. I received the VLZ4 just an 1 hr ago and I just only moved all my cables over. I tested out the Effects Ship ad Return, my Mic and other inputs I am using. Yea Wow I am blown away. Mackie packaged this Mixer so nice Its virtually the best I have ever received for a slice of Electronic Gear. The Photos here on Sweetwater merely give you a hint how crawly it looks. Mackie are just the best Mixers. I almost bought the 16 channel mixer I kinda am embarrassed to say for the Light you can put on it. The 1402 VLZ4 is so cool your gonna want that light. Thanks Sweetwater and Adam for selling me this Perfect Mixer. I received information technology in iii days. I couldn't ask for any affair more.
